This restaurant, a local favorite, has been serving delicious food for nearly 36 years. It was our first time dining here and were thoroughly impressed. The garlic bread was an absolute delicious. It was incredibly fluffy and flavorful, making it a perfect compliment to our dinner. We also ordered the side of meatballs, which were incredibly tender and juicy. They were a testament to the restaurant’s expertise in Italian cuisine. The spaghetti with meat sauce was another highlight of our meal. The sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the spaghetti perfectly. The portion size was generous, ensuring that we had enough to enjoy. The service at this restaurant was exceptional. The waitresses were friendly and attentive, always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They even brought us extra garlic bread, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant.

We've been living here in Cape Coral for a few years now, finally decided to visit Papa Joes. It was a very good initial experience. We sat outside, Jackie was our waitress. We ordered the Home made Sangria which came out with a large cup of ice which was needed to keep it cold, as we sipped away at it! It was very good. We ordered the Calamari as we always feel you can judge a restaurant by the Calamari appetizer! Calamari was very good! Lightly breaded and not tough! Then, Jackie brought us out some bread, which was a real jackpot! Oh, my, goodness... fresh bread smothered with garlic butter and topped with parmesan! Then for the main course we had a deluxe pizza, small, with sausage meatballs & onions and half mushroom, it was delicious! All in all no complaints, we are looking forward to going back again!

A truly Italian restaurant with fantastic Italian food. They don’t take reservations so be ready for lines. The local Italians love the joint and everyone knows everyone. The food was excellent Italian dishes came out steaming and delicious. If you love genuine Italian food this is the place. Prices are reasonable, portions huge. Terry our waitress handled a table of 10 expertly. Highly recommend!!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! This is my second review, but easily the 1,000th time I’ve been here—and not once have I been disappointed. Papa Joe’s is more than just a restaurant, it’s a second home filled with warmth, flavor, and consistency that’s hard to find these days. The food? Out of this world. Every bite of pizza tastes like it was crafted by someone who genuinely loves what they do. The pasta? Homemade perfection. You can taste the passion in every dish. The service? Always welcoming, always friendly. They remember you, they care, and they treat you like family. This place is a Cape Coral treasure. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. And if you have—well, I’ll probably see you there again soon, because once you come, you always come back. Thank you Papa Joe’s for doing it right every single time. You guys are legends!

This locally owned gem is worth the wait! We visited on a Saturday night and it was packed, but we had a table in less than 30 minutes. The selections were varied and the food was delectable. It’s easy to see why they’ve earned all of the “Best of” awards hung on their walls. They offer all of the traditional Italian dishes, but the pasta with clams or mussels appeared to be a favorite with the other diners. The portions were large enough to need to go boxes. They offer vegetarian and gluten free options and were not put out at all when I inquired about these. Our waitress, Janice was wonderful! Give this memorable place a try!
